I'm Timothy Cornell.
I believe the smallest details often tell the biggest stories.

Photography has taught me to slow down, pay attention, and appreciate the details most people walk past. Whether I'm photographing mushrooms on the forest floor, an athlete chasing a goal, or someone building their business, I'm always searching for honest moments and meaningful stories.

Photography fascinated me long before I ever picked up a camera. As a child, I spent countless hours flipping through National Geographic magazines, captivated by the wildlife, landscapes, and stories they revealed. Those pages sparked a curiosity about the world that never left me. Years later, the work of Ansel Adams showed me that photography could do more than document a scene—it could inspire people to slow down, feel something, and see familiar places in a new way.
In 2020, I finally decided to pick up a camera myself. What began as curiosity quickly became a passion and a different way of experiencing the world. Today, I'm drawn to intimate moments that often go unnoticed—from the intricate details of macro photography to quiet encounters with wildlife and genuine human emotion. My goal isn't simply to create beautiful photographs; it's to invite people to pause, look closer, and discover beauty where they might otherwise walk right past.

BEHIND THE LENS
Photography isn't just about the finished image, it's about the journey to create it.

Every photograph begins with curiosity. Whether I'm kneeling in the sand, standing in a Yellowstone snowstorm, or waiting quietly beside the water for wildlife, I believe the best images come from slowing down, being patient, and letting the moment unfold.
Let's create something meaningful together.
Whether you're looking for photography that tells a story, captures genuine emotion, or reveals the beauty in overlooked details, I'd love to hear about your vision.
